            The Spoof was created by Paul Lowton in 1997; however the site had two different names.  The first name was There’s No Place like Home and the second was Laughsend, then The Spoof stuck in 2001.  The site was not an instant success it started out slowly then finally caught on.  Now it is the leading satire newspaper on the web and it now has the respect and attention of many excellent spoof and satire writers.  A unique thing about The Spoof is it relies entirely on their readers to submit stories, so anyone can be a writer on the site.  If you have a passion for making fun of the news and writing outlandish statements about the news this satire newspaper is for you.

            Serving it up fresh every minute of the day like other newspapers, to give people a laugh is the goal of The Spoof.  From making fun of politics, celebrities, natural disasters, and other news topics The Spoof addresses it all.  It is a great form of entertainment for people that enjoy good comedy and that are not overly sensitive about serious issues in the world.  The site takes the seriousness out of the news to make you see the news in a very comedical way that is totally fake.

People can relate to her because she is a mother of five, including Trig, who has Down syndrome, and a wife to husband, Todd. Sarah Palin is a fine example of the all American family. According to the New York Times Bill Clinton describes Sarah Palin’s appeal to Americans by saying, “People look at her, and they say: ‘All those kids. Something that happens in everybody’s family. I’m glad she loves her daughter and she’s not ashamed of her. Glad that girl’s going around with her boyfriend. Glad they’re going to get married.’”

Sarah Palin’s family even goes through typical family problems, such as dealing with her 17 year old daughter, Bristol’s pregnancy, which she seems to be happy about. Also planning a future wedding for Bristol and her boyfriend.

Sarah Palin’s family also made some amazing accomplishments, like husband Tod. Tod won the 2,000 mile Iron Dog snowmobile race four times. According to the New York Times Mr. Clinton said voters would think: “I like that little Down syndrome kid… They’re wonderful children…And I like the idea that this guy does those long distance races. Stayed in the race for 500 miles with a broken arm. My kind of guy.” Because of Sarah Palin’s all American family, she is so relatable to other all American families, especially people that live in small towns.

Mr. Clinton does not believe in saying anything bad about a person. According to the New York Times, he said, “…Why don’t we like them and celebrate them and be happy for her elevation to the ticket? And just say that she was a good choice for him and we disagree with them?” Mr. Clinton is right, even if you do not agree with Sarah Palin or John McCain, why should you say anything bad about them? Saying something bad about anyone you disagree with is childish, ok Mr. Obama, with his lipstick and pig comment a while back. Mr. Clinton should tell that to Mr. Obama, when he is campaigning for the Democratic tickets.

Even though Mr. Clinton is campaigning on behalf of Senator Barack Obama and Joseph R. Biden Jr. it is refreshing to know that he can praise Sarah Palin for what she is, a super mom and wife.
